Comment on this entry and I will give you a letter. Write ten words beginning with that letter in your journal, including an explanation of what the word means to you and why, and then pass out letters to those who want to play along.Letter H from
miyukiko1.
Houjicha. Green tea is always yummy in any form be it tea, ice cream, etc but I'm quite attached to houjicha (roasted green tea). It tastes nice piping hot but the flavour is enhanced when accompanied with food.
2.
Hermit. One who has retired to a solitary place. During high school, I found myself doing this quite alot and still do to this day. Sometimes it's for an extended period or for a short while but through isolation sometimes sanity can be regained.
3.
Hair. For some reason, I've always been attracted to certain archetypes of hair. Long, short, wavy, straight, the first thing I look at is hair. The attraction lies in the flexible aestheticism of hair. I mean, the main reason I went to see the 4th HP movie other than to watch it, was to check out Harry's new do.
Does not have a hair fetish. I think it partially stems from my own attachment to my hair as well as my reluctance to cut or damage it in anyway either physically or chemically. I think it also stems from my complete inability to draw hair in any shape or form. *adores Hallwil and Yamane's style of drawing hair*
Really does not have a hair fetish. To be honest, I totally suck at it.
4.
Hotohori. One of the first bishies to catch my eye for various reasons as well as the one mentioned above.
His not!relationship with Nuriko nothwithstanding. Not to mention his seiyuu is Takehito Koyasu-sama. *melts*
5.
Hiruma. Those who know me, probably can guess why I love him. Positively insane in his high-handed methods yet with enough of the realist in him.
6.
Hunch. I've used both senses of the word. I've noticed over the years that I've had increasingly bad posture when sitting. So much so, that I think that I'll develop a hunch later on in life. It also is a defense mechanism of mine to hunker down and avoid getting caught in any crossfire by making myself unobtrusive. I've also noticed that although my dreams tend to insane or completely unrealistic
for example my plunnies and that spider alien dream, I occasionally have strange prophetic dreams that eventually come true in some way a few years after, which will always give me the worst case of deja vu.
7.
Hockey. I don't play hockey if I can help it, I much prefer my soccer or otherwise known as football. However, hockey has a special place in my memories. As a part of our PE curriculum, we got to play lots of different sports to lead up to our coaching assessment. I can't throw with any particular accuracy though I have a mean kick, nor do I like playing contact sports.
Though soccer would be the exception but is it even a contact sport? Anyway, hockey was extremely fun for me and not so fun for some of the guys. I remember being indiscriminate when attacking for the ball and had some pretty rough dirty play though it was all perfectly by the book. I must admit that I had lots of fun that day since it was boys vs girls. Needless to say as a result of that day, I was asked not to handle a hockey stick again.
8.
Hajime. I have a particular attachment to this word/name. As a word, meaning start or beginning, it has much meaning as it is sometimes the hardest thing to do, begin something. So once I get past the starting stage, I find it much easier to progress. As a name, there are some characters that I have found myself attached to. Hajime Mizuki from Prince of Tennis, whose quirky personality I can't help but adore. Nfu nfu nfu. Hajime from Sohryuden/Legend of the Four Kings, but he isn't the only one I love from this series, in fact I love all 4 brothers but poor Hajime had his eye stabbed *cries*. And who could forget Hajime aka Terazuma, the gruff and grumpy shinigami in Yami no Matsuei.
9.
Honey. I adore this sweet sticky substance. It's naturally sweet and I can put it on almost everything. This word also represents my strange urge to attach the endearment 'honey' or 'sweetie' when I'm speaking to someone. Must stop hanging around coworkers, otherwise mimic reflex will go out of control.
10.
Hands. I in all honesty could not live without my hands.
Or my eyes but I digress. They hold the books and manga that I love. They allow me to type stuff. They let me practice my sewing and accidentally stab myself with pins for all the costumes/clothes/plush that I have made or intend to make. They even hold onto the steering wheel of the car as I learn to drive and make sure that I don't crash.....much... o_o'
I couldn't stop laughing when I saw the letter I was given. If you
excluding yaoi fans don't get it, then don't worry.
