Went window shopping and to see Madagascar 2 with [livejournal.com profile] arccie today. To sum up the day, ice cream, squooshable movie and "serious" discussion.

I went with the intention to window shop but ended up splurging on games at EB and eyes, styrofoam balls, hooks and yarn at Spotlight.
*hangs head in shame*
I'm not a very good window shopper.
Was and am still extremely tempted to get AoM for DS. Am very curious to see how it differs from the PC game.

Madagascar 2 is a really good movie.
Shorter than the first but still hilarious. I'm fairly sure it's not just me but the amount of innuendo in this one had me in fits. I just love the look on Alex and Marty's face when Gloria and Melman get mushy. It's reminiscent to the awkward look little boys get when things get a little too touchy feely for them or they think there are cooties in the air.
A little disappointed that the penguins didn't get to have as much fun but they were still squooshable.
Baby Alex is so dopey and adorable.

We had "serious discussion"?
When and did it traumatise me such that I have blanked it out?
(Although I thought I had all the hours of that day accounted for)

Window shopping with occasional splurging. It's what would make window shopping as a reality tv-show interesting.

Voiceover: Will she give in to temptation? Will she pay out her hard earned dollars for that item? Or will she realise that due to rising prices she will need that money for train fairs?
Nail biting viewing here on 7 why can I actually see this show on channel 7? I think it probably says something very bad about 7s programming

*raises hand* I saw the innuendo.
I'm kinda worried that it says I've been reading too much slash that now I see subtext everywhere.
Penguins for the win!
I think they were all pretty darn adorable in the baby flashbacks. Kinda wanted more Alex!Papa in it though.

That's why there are quotation marks XD
And who's to say what we were discussing wasn't of life changing import.
Not that it's really changed any lives...

My window shopping fail = reality tv

Nooooooo....those two words are the devil.
I find hte amount of subtext I latch onto in nearly everything is kind of worrying but oh well.
